Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A is most likely to be a smaller, cheaper variant of the upcoming Xiaomi Redmi Note 5.
A new leak purportedly showing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A retail box has surfaced online. The leak shows a bright red colored box with the ‘Note 5A’ printed on the box in big. The packaging is similar to previous Xiaomi smartphones, but instead of showing the phone on the front of the box, it shows just the name. The Mi logo is on the top-right corner. However, nothing else is revealed by the image in terms of features or specifications of the upcoming device.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A is expected to be announced alongside the Redmi Note 5 series. Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 series will follow the Redmi Note 3 and Redmi Note 4 announced previously, and initially the company is expected to launch the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5, and Xiaomi Redmi Note 5A. If previous launches are anything to go by, Xiaomi could very well launch a few other variants of the Redmi Note 5 as well.
