Modi’s Assam visit: Campaign in Raha, Sarbhog, Rangia and Guwahati

BJP’s last mega election campaigning is underway. PM Modi’s arrival to the state definitely boosts the party’s chances. The schedule is very tight. Modi offered prayers at Kamakhya temple early in the morning after which he has been attending public meetings.

The final phase of election is on April 11. Massive crowd to witness Modi magic gathered in the meetings. Modi is scheduled to address poll meetings in Raha, Sarbhog, Rangia and Guwahati before leaving for Delhi in the evening. He was accompanied by star campaigner for BJP in Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma along with few other ministers.

Modi raised the topic of change, development and employment in most parts of his speech in Raha and targeted the ruling government for not being able to free the state from the bars of unemployment and poverty.

Middle and lower Assam will go to polls on April 11 covering 61 constituencies
