ADBU’s debut visit to Parliament

A group of students from Assam Don Bosco University (ADBU), Guwahati Assam made a tour of the playground of the biggest democratic nation, Indian Parliament. Under the leadership of Dr Luckose Jacob who is Associate Professor of Social Work in the School of Social Sciences the group made a tour of the Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha yesterday (11-12-2015).

The group of students became the first to visit Parliament from ADBU, established in 2008. It was a historic event for the team and an experience that cannot be forgotten.

“It was indeed a once in a life time experience for us to visit the august hall of the parliament, the sanctuary of democracy,” said one of the visiting student.

Bureau of Parliamentary Studies and Training (BPST) was in charge of this study visit that takes care of the orientation of every student in the interest of the nation.
