64th Film Awards 2017 for 3 State films

Maj Rati Keteki was adjudged the best Assamese feature film at the 64th National Film Awards 2016.

The 64th National Film Awards 2016 were announced by the chairpersons of the juries on feature films, non-feature films, best writing on cinema and most film-friendly state award.

Another film from Assam produced by Mayamara Production and directed by Jaicheng Jai Dohutia, Haanduk, has been selected for Rajat Kamal as the best feature film in Moran language.

The film Assamese, directed by Sanjib Sabhapandit and produced by Canvascope “Dikchow Banat Palaax” received The Nargis Dutt Award for best feature film on national integration.

Assamese actor Adil Hussain got a ‘Special Mention’ for his works in the Hindi film Mukti Bhawan and Assamese film Maj Rati Keteki.
